We hope you’re enjoying your vacation so far, and if you’re taking summer classes, we hope that they’re going well for you. This month, if you haven’t renewed, you will be receiving a notice letting you know that your lease will officially end July 31, along with some helpful move-out tips. If you have any questions regarding the end of your lease, the move-out process, or anything else, please feel free to contact the office. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your summer, and join us in welcoming the USAA interns staying with us over the summer.

Special Highlight

  1. Guests at the pool must be accompanied by the resident who is hosting them. Residents must have amenity bands at all times while at the pool and are allowed two guests each at any time during normal pool hours.
  2. Glass, pets, and smoking are not allowed at any time inside the pool gates. Anyone seen with these will be asked to leave immediately, and the host resident will be fined.

Reminders & Updates

A friendly reminder that rent is always due in full on the first of the month. Late fees start on the fourth. Please be aware of any past due balances, as they will be due in full at the end of your lease.

Refer a friend to move in for next fall, and receive a $300 rent credit on your 2016–2017 lease for every friend that you refer!

Guest parking is located along the back fence of the property behind buildings B and C. Guest parking is indicated by the signs labeled “guest parking.” This is the only guest parking; “compact” does not indicate guest parking.

Summer Like a Local

Whether you’re going home or staying put for the summer, take advantage of all our community has to offer! Summers can be a great chance to enjoy the area in some new and different ways. With the hectic pace of school, many students miss out on opportunities to get involved and have fun in their local community during the academic year — it’s time to change that! From festivals to parks and local attractions, below are some ways you can summer like a local. As a bonus, most of them are either free or very affordable!

  • Do something touristy
  • Visit a farmers market
  • Check out a local sporting event
  • Visit your Chamber of Commerce website to find out about local attractions
  • Find a calendar of nearby fairs and festivals
  • Enjoy Fourth of July festivities and fireworks
  • Hike or bike a nearby trail
  • Volunteer with a local organization
  • Have a picnic
  • Go to an outdoor movie or concert
  • Run or walk a local 5K

We’ll also be planning events and activities for you throughout the summer, and if you need ideas for other fun things to do in the area, please let us know. We have information on area resources and a local calendar of events on hand to give you plenty of options. Have a memorable and fun summer!
